Do You Have What It Takes To Be An Adult Webmaster In The Gay Market?
Being an adult webmaster is damn hard work, being a gay webmaster seems to be even harder. Don't fret, as here are a few helpful links and tips that we have acquired over the years.
It seems like there are a gazillion sponsors out there which makes it really hard to know which ones
to use and promote on a site.
After over 10 years in this business we have come to the conclussion that just because they might be large, offer
huge lists of sites, doesn't mean that they will convert.
We tend to favour the Twink Side of things, and so our list of sponsors are generally in that niche.
For us sponsors like Curious
Cash are super, as they have several great sites, promoting fresh faced talent from Australia.
That in itself is different enough to warrant giving Curious
Cash a shot.
Also we use two American sponsors, Pridebucks
and Condom
Cash as a basic sponsor in our pages.
Pridebucks
have a limited number of sites, but they are a class act, with loads of excellent talent and production.
Condom
Cash is new but it boasts some pretty impressive sites.
No they aren't flash in the pan and the folks running it are very savvy as to what sells.
We don't really advertise it much, but webmasters can promote our books through Pay

One of the most important aspects of being online, is being listed high up in the
Search Engine Indexes for the major three giants. Yahoo. MSN. Google.
This is free targetted traffic that returns buyers, not lookers so much.
It is also one of the most frustrating aspects of doing business online.
Like anything its a guessing game at times, but if you can master it, it can make your site payoff.
We like to browse the forums for tid bits on Search Engine Optimization, and specially we visit Adult Webmaster Hangout
for this.
However we also find some good help over at Gay Wide Webmasters which is more of a general webmaster resource and
it is Gay.

Video's definately seem to be a popular feature to have on many sites.
Some use many plug ins within their membership area, however for those promoting free or AEN sites, we recommend a couple of simple straight forward options.
Course one of the biggest headaches is to establish more than just a few banners.
There is naturally AEBN which has one of the smoothest webmaster interfaces available.
They allow for easy integration of their titles into your own site, making it easier to generate revenue.
One of the other options is the promotion of the Video Club type approach that Mesmerotic Sites have.
Their two flagship sites, Just Us Boys & Male Movie Review are top notch products that sell extremely well.
They do require a different approach than say AEBN would, but it is worth the extra effort.
